The Detroit Tigers travel to Oakland to take on the A's in Game Two of a doubleheader on Thursday. Detroit is 37-55 SU overall this year while Oakland comes in with a 32-61 SU overall record on the season. Garrett Hill is 1-1 with a 5.73 ERA overall this year and 0-1 with a 10.80 ERA on the road this season. Frankie Montas has pitched well this year but lacked run support. I think he gets the run support tonight against Hill here. Montas is 3-9 with a 3.17 ERA overall this year, 1-6 with a 2.55 ERA at home this season and 0-2 with a 1.80 ERA his last 3 starts. Very good numbers but his win/loss record certainly doesn't reflect that. Detroit is 1-6 last 7 games overall scoring only 2.6 runs per game while allowing 5.7 runs per game.
