The Diamondbacks are coming off a tough loss at Milwaukee yesterday as not only did they blow a 4-0 lead, but it took 17 innings for them to finally go down. The bullpen was used for 11.1 inning before the game finally came to an end after close to six hours after it started and that is certainly a disadvantage coming into tonight. The Braves opened their roadtrip by winning just one of five games but were able to take the final two games against the Giants including a come-from-behind win yesterday where they scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning. They look to carry that momentum into tonight behind Alex Wood who is having a very solid season. He has allowed three runs or less eight times in nine starts including all six on the road where he possesses a 2.37 ERA. The Diamondbacks are 4-10 in their last 14 home games against left-handed starters. Arizona counters with Archie Bradley who was awesome through his first four Major League starts but he has gone the wrong way since then. He has posted an 11.81 ERA and 2.53 WHIP over his last three starts and has not won a game since being hit in the face with a comebacker on April 28th and you have to wonder if that is still affecting him.
