The Milwaukee Brewers have quietly been playing some of their best baseball of the season here down the stretch.  They have gone 7-1 over their last eight games, which includes a 3-game sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates.  They have scored seven or more runs in six of their last nine games overall.

 

Taylor Jungmann appears to have a bright future in Milwaukee.  He has gone 9-5 with a 2.42 ERA and 1.148 WHIP over 16 starts this season.  He is 2-0 with a 0.75 ERA in his last two starts, allowing just one earned run in 12 innings.

 

Adam Conley has not performed well in limited action for the Marlins, going 3-1 with a 5.02 ERA and 1.432 WHIP over six starts and four relief appearances.  One of those starts came against Milwaukee on August 18.  Conley allowed four earned runs and 10 base runners in 3 2/3 innings for a 9.81 ERA and 2.725 WHIP.

 

Miami is 1-16 (-18.6 Units) against the money line revenging a loss vs opponent as a home favorite this season.  The Brewers are 6-0 in their last six games vs. a left-handed starter.  Milwaukee is 4-0 in Jungmann's last four starts as a favorite.  Bet the Brewers Tuesday.
