I'm recommending a play on Notre Dame plus the points on Monday. The Irish have had their injury issues this season with the big loss being Bonzi Colson, who remains sidelined. But with Matt Farrell at 100 percent and Temple Gibbs averaging 22 points per game in Notre Dame's last five outings, the Irish are back to playing "their brand" of basketball. The pace and scoring have picked up of late and the Irish will head to Chapel Hill off big wins over Florida State and Boston College. UNC won this year's first meeting by a point. Dame was not only missing Colson, but Matt Farrell also missed the game due to injury. The Irish made just 34.8 percent of their FGA, yet came within a made FG of winning the game outright. UNC is off a pair of intense wins over in-state rivals NC State and Duke. Both were close, hard fought games and I expect this one to be tight also.
